Jim White's Famous Field Day Chili Here's the recipe for Field Day Chili. This recipe will feed feed about a dozen hearty appetites.

3 lb. ground chuck
1 large Bermuda onion (you could use 2)
2 bell peppers (you could use 3)
2 large cans diced tomatoes
5 stalks celery
1 can tomato sauce (8 - 10 oz.)
2 cans chili beans
1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
2 Jalapeno peppers
1 teaspoon salt
All veggies should be chopped or cut up, but not too fine. In a large frying pan, brown ground chuck with onion, green pepper, and celery. Add the rest of the ingredients to the meat mixture in the frying pan. Simmer for several hours, stirring as needed.
